"Far arc" reserves

The Republic of Belarus traditionally maintains friendly and cooperative relations with the countries of the so-called "far arc" - Asia, Africa and Latin America. The coincidence of positions on most topical issues on the international agenda, the similarity of approaches to solving problems of socio-economic development contribute to the expansion of interaction between our republic and these states in all areas. Moreover, Belarus traditionally implements a multi-vector foreign economic policy, maintaining foreign trade contacts with most countries of the "far arc" and diversifying export deliveries to new markets. Suffice it to say that in 2024, Belarusian products were exported to the markets of 161 countries, including Asia, Africa and Latin America. And the value of exports of goods and services from Belarus last year amounted to almost fifty billion dollars. The most important export positions in the countries of the "far arc" are occupied by Belarusian products of mechanical engineering, food and petrochemical industries, metallurgy. This work discusses how relations between the Belarusian side and Asian, African and Latin American partners are developing today.
