Fatso II - Hunger Ward: A Splatterpunk Novella of Female Rage

She was quiet. She was compliant. She was full. Until they decided she needed to be "fixed." Eight months after the cannibalistic murders that horrified the nation, Priscilla Dobbs is a ghost in a gown. Trapped in a high-security state psychiatric ward, she has become the model patient: silent, medicated, and perfectly obedient. As long as she is fed. Enter Dr. Michael Rourke. He doesn't see a monster; he sees a project. To him, Priscilla isn't a predator-she's a victim of her own appetites. His "revolutionary" treatment plan is a clinical nightmare of calorie counts, weight-loss lectures, and the slow, systematic starvation of the beast within. But hunger has always been the most honest thing in Priscilla's life. As the portions shrink and the clinical arrogance grows, the "beast" doesn't die-it sharpens its teeth. Something is stirring in the locked ward. Something patient. Something that has spent months memorizing the rhythm of the nurses' keys and the exact location of the surgical steel. The ward is about to become a buffet. HUNGER WARD is the savage sequel to FATSO, a splatterpunk descent into the "unpalatable feminine." It is a brutal exploration of what happens when society tries to shrink a woman who has finally learned the power of taking up space. The doctor wanted to save her soul. He should have been worried about his skin.
