Federalism In South Asia

The book is a systematic, comparative and empirical study of the functioning and aspiring federal political systems in select South Asian countries, viz., India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. It posits federal democracy as the only viable solution to the challenges of ethnic and regional conflicts and governance in these multicultural and multinational countries. This book is one of the first in-depth and systematic studies on the functioning and aspiring federations of South Asia.
