'Consequences of Errors in the Award Procedure': The thesis examines the legal consequences of procurement errors for procedures and awards below the EU thresholds. It considers the relevant general and procurement-specific error consequence regulations and practice-relevant peripheral areas, e.g. grant award law (Zuwendungsvergaberecht). It shows that the consequences of errors vary depending on the legal nature of the contract award and concludes that, although the current legal situation is open to criticism from a legal policy perspective, it is largely permissible from a legal point of view.
