Ficus Ginseng Bonsai

Species: Ficus microcarpa 'Ginseng' · Height: 80 cm (including nursery pot) · Pot size: ø24 cm The Ficus microcarpa 'Ginseng' has a thick, gnarled root stem that rises above the soil, topped with a dense crown of small, glossy dark green leaves. That gives it the look of a large bonsai. This specimen is 80 cm tall including the grow pot and stands in a pot of ø24 cm. It looks lovely on a low table, a sideboard or on the floor near a window, and suits anyone who wants a bonsai shape without the upkeep of a real bonsai. Give it a bright spot; a little sun is good, but avoid harsh midday sun through glass. Let the top layer of soil dry out between waterings. It copes well with dry room air; only draughts and moving it sometimes cause leaf drop. Delivered in the grow pot.
