Fire in the Desert: A Novel Based on Book of Acts

Jesus is risen. Saying so is now a crime. In the days after the resurrection, a movement no one can contain spreads from Jerusalem into Samaria and beyond. For Eliana and her companions, who walked with Jesus through the years of his ministry, the resurrection changed everything. It might cost her everything, too. As the Temple authorities move to crush the new faith, the priest Nekoda is shocked by the persecution being led by a young Pharisee named Saul-a zealous man who wants to eradicate these Christ followers. But no one, even Saul himself, can foresee what awaits him on the road to Damascus. Even as Saul pursues believers, something far greater is pursuing him. Some will stand before councils. Some will flee into exile. Some will not survive. Each believer must decide what they are willing to sacrifice for the sake of their faith. Perfect for fans of The Chosen, Francine Rivers, and classic epics like The Robe, Fire in the Desert is a sweeping journey into the Book of Acts. Feel the dust on your sandals and the Galilean Sea breeze in your hair as you witness the world's greatest revolution begin with a handful of ordinary believers. Experience the story that changed the world.
