The screenplay for Five Lands is written by three creators under the shared pseudonym Lewelyn: Mélanie Guyard, a writer and screenwriter also known as Andoryss — author of the Les Enfants d’Evernight novel cycle and the Le Soufflevent comic; David Chauvel, the author of scripts for dozens of comics including the mythical Arthur and the historical Ce qui est à nous; and young writer Patrick Wong, recognized for the early volumes of En falsh. The drawings are by Jérôme Lereculey, co-creator of numerous adventure, mythical and historical series (Wollodrin, Cairn, Golias, Arthur).
