This practical guide aims to improve the writing of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and clinical case reports (CCQCMs), essential assessment tools in medicine. It reiterates the fundamental docimological rules: clarity of pedagogical objective, alignment with the expected level, concise formulation, homogeneity of propositions, relevance of distractors and avoidance of bias (grammatical, cognitive or stylistic).
