From Deep Within

What happens to us when anxiety and intrusive thoughts take over? From deep within is a raw, honest, and deeply moving collection of poetry about living with anxiety and OCD, and the profound pain of being abandoned. These poems take the reader on a journey through the daily struggle of finding solid ground in a chaotic inner world. The collection also sheds a vulnerable and critical light on navigating the healthcare system-the heavy feeling of being defined solely by a medical label, and how diagnoses like anxiety and ADHD can cause real, physical illness to be dismissed or overlooked.Yet, in the midst of the darkness and the wounds of the past, a powerful light shines through. It is the deep, unconditional love from a spouse and children that restores hope and gives the strength to keep fighting every single day. A touching and powerful collection about pain, systemic failure, inheritance, and the healing power of family.
