Holding degrees in Economics and English Literature from Middlesex University, she is a former professor and advocate for women's education who founded a private school and service center for Afghan women. Author of Afghan Lady in Space, Stardust and Sorrow, The Garden of Dreams, Aftaab-e-Hari, and The Love I Don't Have, as well as other forthcoming works, she writes stories celebrating resilience, hope, and cultural identity, continuing to inspire as a writer, poet, and educator.
