In addition, there are serious concerns over the emission of greenhouse gases and their hazardous effects on the environment arising from the combustion of fossil fuels.Biodiesel, an eco-friendly fuel, synthesized from Atili (Canarium schweinfurthii) oil, blended with kerosene and diesel, can be used as alternative fuels for these conventional fuels, thereby, helping to reduce emissions arising from using unblended versions of these fossil fuels.The fuel properties of the blends investigated yielded promising results using ASTM and EN standards, revealing that these blends could be applied as alternatives to conventional kerosene or diesel fuels.
