12:22 Agus dúirt sé lena dheisceabail, "Dá bhrí sin, deirim libh, ná bíodh imní oraibh faoi bhur saol, cad a ithefaidh sibh; ná faoin gcorp, cad a chuirfidh sibh oraibh."12:22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.12:23 Is mó an bheatha ná an bia, agus is mó an corp ná an t-éadach.12:23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.12:24 Smaoinigh ar na préacháin: óir ní chuireann siad cur ná ní bhaineann siad; agus níl stóras ná scioból acu; agus beathaíonn Dia iad: cé mhéad níos fearr sibhse ná na héin?12:24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?12:25 Agus cé agaibh a d'fhéadfadh, le cúram, cubhad amháin a chur lena airde?12:25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?12:26 Mura bhfuil sibh in ann an rud is lú a dhéanamh, cén fáth a mbíonn imní oraibh faoin gcuid eile?12:26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?12:27 Féachaigí ar na lilí mar a fhásann siad: ní shaothraíonn siad, ní sníomhann siad; agus deirim libh fós, nach raibh Solamh ina ghlóir uile gléasta mar cheann acu seo.12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.12:28 Má chuireann Dia éadaí ar an bhféar atá sa pháirc inniu agus a chaitear san oigheann amárach, cé mhéad is mó a chuireann sé éadaí oraibhse, a dhaoine ar bheagán creidimh?12:28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?12:29 Agus ná bíodh amhras oraibh faoi cad a ithefaidh sibh, nó cad a ólfaidh sibh.12:29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.12:30 Óir is iad seo uile atá á lorg ag náisiúin an domhain, agus tá a fhios ag bhur nAthair go bhfuil gá agaibh leis seo.12:30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
