This monograph presents the results of long-term studies conducted on eroded gray forest and cumulus (deluvial) soils in transit-accumulative landscapes. It examines the characteristics of the content of elemental forms and compounds of Cu, Zn, Co, Ni, Mn, and Fe in slope soils and vegetation. It reveals patterns of vertical profile distribution and horizontal migration, biological uptake, their entry into the soils of agrocenoses, as well as their accumulation in plants. Grades of trace element contamination in eroded soils and the degree of their toxicity to plants have been established. Practical recommendations aimed at minimizing the input of trace elements and improving the quality of eroded slope soils are provided.
