Gioielli, Caffè e Firenze An Italian Graded Reader (B1 CEFR) Written in Italian adapted for B1 learners, this story follows Marie, a young French jeweler who comes to Florence to study her craft. At a jewelry exhibition, Marie meets an Italian man who catches her eye. As she gets to know him, she also begins to wonder what he is keeping from her. The story follows her through Florence’s workshops and cafés. This story began with a Sunday afternoon walk through Oltrarno, Florence’s neighborhood of artists and artisans.
