Girl on the freeway

Girl on the Freeway: A Life Lost Between Protect and Neglect Inspired by true events, Girl on the Freeway is a powerful and emotionally gripping novel that follows the life of a young girl who spends her childhood searching for safety in a system designed to protect her. Through abuse, neglect, foster homes, receiving centers, courtrooms, and heartbreaking loss, she longs for the one thing every child deserves-a place to belong. Told with raw honesty and compassion, the story sheds light on the hidden realities many children in foster care face and the lasting impact of trauma, instability, and unanswered cries for help. More than a story of loss, it is a call for awareness, accountability, and hope for meaningful change. Girl on the Freeway is a tribute to the children whose voices are too often unheard and a reminder that every child deserves to be seen, protected, and loved.
