Hope, Grace, and the God Who Still Waits.God is a promise-maker and promise-keeper. From the first pages of Scripture to the final "Amen" in Revelation, His faithfulness shines through in covenant after covenant, pledge after pledge. He speaks, and His Word is sure. He invites, and His arms remain open. He patiently waits, yet never forgets. He opens the door, and does not close it in the face of the willing. This is our God by His own Words, on which our hope rests.Genesis 3:15God declares, "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel"Revelation 22:20-21"He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen." In these pages, we will look closely at God's character as revealed through His promises. We will ask some hard but necessary questions: Does God truly offer salvation and reconciliation to all people? If so, are all able to respond, or is His offer a mystery that only a preselected few can embrace? If the latter is true, what would that tell us about God's character?
