This is the most thorough and complete text about everyday living in the country of Yis-ra-'el when God's Bible was being written. For my readers who do not have a Bible, I have entered my 1,400-plus biblical references in full to verify my statements of fact. You may not be familiar with the Complete Jewish Study Bible (CJB) 2016, second edition, as translated by Rabbi-Dr. Stern from the original Hebrew texts. However, this is my translation of choice. I have chosen this translation because Rabbi-Dr. Stern has restored the original Yis-ra'eli people and place-names into modern-day English. All my life, I have had unstable roots because my parents relocated often, and the sixteen assignments during my twenty-four years in the USCG agreed with my wandering nature. I have met and learned so much from various people groups in far-flung places, from the Arctic to the tropics.
