God's Inexhaustible Pursuit

From beginning to end, the Bible is the record of God's never-ending quest to draw us to the Almighty's love. Stories from Genesis to Revelation disclose a divine love for us that cannot be distracted or obstructed. God's Inexhaustible Pursuit leads the reader through a treasure trove of Biblical passages that express God's love in dramatic fashion, and which provide stirring portrayals of the Divine as the God who walk through blood for us, who wrestles with a mortal, who takes up residence in a shack, who carries a basket for us, who infiltrates behind enemy lines, and who is willing to embarrass himself for our sake-all with the goal of bringing God's love to us. After earning degrees at U.C. Berkeley and Fuller Seminary, Thomas Tripp served long pastorates in northern California and Arizona. Immersing himself in the church and the community, including chaplaincy work at hospitals and with law enforcement and jail ministry, he communicates God's love by word and by life. He loves to spend time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, and to hike, to tutor students in reading, and to sit on his porch playing his guitar, banjo and mandolin. His ongoing reflections on the Psalms can be read at http: //tomtrippblog.wordpress.com.
