Godly Friendships A Letter to My Sisters: Choosing Your Friends With Wisdom

Friendships are a gift from the Lord. We seek and want godly friendships, but are we being a friend and showing ourselves to be friendly? The Bible says, "A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." Proverbs 18:24 NKJV. Then sisters, what do you do when you feel like you've been sowing all the right kind of seeds, but still don't see a harvest in your relationships? Don't be weary in well-doing. Be encouraged, there will be a harvest. I also want to tell you that people will fail you and disappoint you, but scripture always points us to someone greater, Jesus. In that same proverbs of 18:24 it says there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Who is that? The Lord Almighty! Dive deeper into godly friendships and chose them wisely. Take notes of what The Lord is teaching you. Grab a sister in the faith and grow in love, unity and community together toward biblical friendship.
