Going Back

At 41, life was exciting, the future looked sensational. I was busy, juggling work and family life, I was very happy!! I was fun, spontaneous and in love. When I had spare time I, loved singing, going to the beach, theme park rides and drinking champagne. One overseas work trip changed everything In one random moment, literally- my life changed as I knew it, forever, and you will never believe what happened. This story covers the frightening and devastating consequences of an innocent work trip. No one could have predicted this, no one could have prevented it. Worst of all, no one knew how to deal with it. I felt seriously broken. I was unable to verbalise the magnitude of its impact on my whole self to anyone. The ripple effect was immense This could happen to anyone at anytime, anywhere in the world. It doesn't discriminate !! The enormity of the consequences far exceed anything 1 could imagine or have believed, could possibly happen. Author Lisa Wigan.
