Ben and Sofie witness a murder. A fear filled time follows. Who is behind the murder? And why? When Sophie meets a Philippine journalist, Susie, they start to investigate. They become more and more entangled in the web of murder and danger. The closer they get to the truth, the more dangerous things become. Monique van Stenus (1961) currently lives in Schoorl. Along with her husband and two children, she lived in the late eighties in Manila. After writing short stories, she has now written her debut book, Goldcrest. Her own family is the inspiration for the family in the book.
