Good Neighbor Club: A Community Bonded by Love and Respect

A community is a particular geographical location made up of people who live there. These folks are connected by shared interests, values or goals who strive for the common good bring empathy and support to one another. It is where there is respect and love for one another. To be effective there must be at the least organization, social interaction and a willingness to become proactive in achieving desired goals. The community where I live is a rural area in Western North Carolina and we have a community association. The Green River Community Association was formed after the Green River Community Club no longer was active and others came together to form a new 501C organization. In this book it is my intention to share my community and to remember the families who lived in Tuxedo North Carolina during my personal lifetime. I am including a brief description of the summer camps in our area, churches within our community and our community park.
