Endorsement for Jenni Petkau's book - Good Night Kevin We'll See You In the MorningThey say that laughter is the best medicine. While I don't disagree with that expression, I would say that Jenni's book emphasizes the fact that the most valuable life lessons, and real healing, can come through grief and tears, and as you read Kevin's story there will be tears. My prayer, for those who have experienced grief and pain in their lives, is that you will find comfort and healing through this book. Not just the comfort of finding a fellow sojourner. But the comfort of a new perspective, a new worldview, a heavenly view. Jenni and Stephen could have shaken their fists and walked away from a cruel, unsympathetic God. Instead, they embraced a loving heavenly Father and chose to find peace and joy in His will over holding onto and demanding theirs. Jenni and Stephen's story provides a real life example of Jesus' words "not my will (what I want or desire), but Yours be done.
