The Coptic manuscript tradition preserves an enormous wealth of Gospel responses to be chanted throughout the Coptic Year, most of which have never been published or translated. This edition brings them to light for use by chanters and deacons in liturgical worship, and by the faithful in their private devotion.Beyond their liturgical function, these Gospel responses offer profound exegetical and spiritual insight, drawing the reader into a living encounter with Christ and His Kingdom.
