Bol GRISELDA BLANCO grew up in the suburbs of Medellin where she was turned into a prostitute at the age of 12 by her mother. At 18, she met her first husband, Carlos Trujillo, who gave her three children before throwing her out. She returned six years on the sidewalk before meeting the man who would change her life, Alberto Bravo. Together they emigrated to New York. In the American megalopolis, they started trafficking cocaine. Griselda and Alberto imported several kilos of white powder, which they sold to an American mafia boss. John Gotti, the Godfather of the Mafia, contacted Griselda for supplies. The Bravo couple organized the delivery of this merchandise by relying on their childhood friends in Medellín. But demand kept growing. And the mules that flew the goods were not enough to satisfy it. They had to set up a cutting-edge industry to supply their customers. Other friends from Medellin came into play, including the famous Pablo Escobar Gaviria.
