This work offers a basic overview of information literacy from the perspective of the library and information sciences. It includes essays on strategies for practical implementation of support for information literacy in schools, universities, and research facilities. A particular focus is placed on designing such programs to promote learning through calculated spatial and technical infrastructures and didactically effective planning.
