Handling tenders for logistics service providers

Tenders for logistics services are becoming increasingly important as they are seen as a good way of reducing transport costs. In addition, tenders allow the quality of logistics services to be reviewed and improved, and new service providers can be identified. Especially as transport networks become increasingly complex and intertwined in a globalised world, tenders are becoming more heterogeneous, which is why the demands on logistics service providers are increasing. This thesis therefore deals with the important topic of handling logistics tenders. Tenders are examined from the perspective of both the offering and the bidding parties. The aim of this thesis is to improve the tender processing at G. Englmayer Spedition GmbH by providing this comprehensive overview.
