Timothy didn't expect to find a printing press among the ruins of a bombed-out city. Chio didn't expect Timothy to know how to use it. Nor did they expect the author to disappear in the penultimate chapter. And neither of them expected to embark on a perilous race against time across a war-torn country to find the mysterious writer.
