What Does the Bible Say About Healing?If we are to learn what the Bible says about healing, we need to goon a journey that takes us through several concepts and dimensions.Our English word healing, or heal, can mean several related, butdifferent, things.¿ verb: (transitive) To make better from a disease, wound, etc.; torevive or cure.¿ verb: (intransitive) To become better or healthy again.¿ verb: (transitive, fi gurative) To reconcile, as a breach or difference;to make whole; to free from guilt.¿ noun: Healing; an instance of restoration of health.It is easiest to remember if we recognize that h*e*a*l are the fi rst fourletters of health and healthy.The Hebrew and Greek languages also use several words and defi nitionswhich we will have to sort out.
