A solution-focused 18-session workshop helping women* heal from trauma and move beyond society's toxic messages about femininity Trauma is prevalent among women of all ages, and it can be compounded by social conditioning that portrays femininity as weak and subservient. There are many gender-neutral resources for understanding and healing from trauma, but few take a gender-responsive approach. Healing Women's Pain recognizes that gender issues influence how women respond to trauma, and that women have unique needs for recovery. This curriculum's interactive, trauma-informed sessions help women reflect on the sources of their trauma, develop compassion for self and others, set healthy boundaries, and embark on a healing journey that will help them reframe their narratives and live authentic lives.
