The following Reprint presents the second edition of the Special Issue "Healthcare Goes Digital Mobile Health and Electronic Health Technology in the 21st Century". It serves as a compilation of recent research addressing the ongoing digital transformation of healthcare systems with a focus on artificial intelligence, mobile health, telemedicine, wearable technologies, and electronic health solutions. The contributions examine the integration of these technologies into clinical practice to support diagnosis, monitoring, rehabilitation, and patient engagement while also considering key implementation challenges including usability, digital literacy, interoperability, organizational readiness, and ethical aspects. Particular attention is given to the evolving role of artificial intelligence, including machine learning and generative models, in clinical decision support, workflow optimization, and patient interaction, in addition to issues related to safety, reliability, and responsible deployment. This Reprint highlights the transition of digital health from experimental applications to real-world implementation in healthcare settings and provides an updated overview of current advances and future directions in the field.
