Hekate

Hekate tells the story of the great wars between Rome and Carthage in a way that has never been done before. We sit as it were on the shoulder of the expedition leader Morgan and see how the tension between the two cities is being built up and lead to the war. We follow Morgan’s action teams while they infiltrate in both the Roman and the Carthaginian camp. With their sophisticated communication equipment, they are in constant connection with Morgan. This way we are there when Hannibal’s army marches over the Alps and when he prepares and fights his four battles in Italy. But we are also in Rome and see how and why the Roman senate reacts. With Morgan we follow the action teams as they experience how close life and death are in these days, how cruel both Romans and Carthaginians can be. Morgan and the action teams are instructed to prevent the Roman empire to grow beyond Italy in order to save the world population in the future, but the question is of all members of this expedition will survive. The myths and photographs between the chapters help to understand the way of thinking of these ancient peoples. The history is accurate; the fantasy is thrilling.
