Hideaway

Mother and we four kids left a comfortable home in Bremerton, Washingtonto live on the shore of Swan Bay, Lake Ozette. At this time, we were the onlyfamily living on the lake.Over the three years that we lived there, we dealt with storms, high water,hunters, and a tree that threatened to fall on our cabin.There was also a running conflict between Mother and me, a conflict that wasresolved only after Mother died.
