High Anti Corruption Court of Ukraine

The monograph is devoted to a comprehensive theoretical and legal study of the establishment, legal status, and functional purpose of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine as a cornerstone of the national anti-corruption infrastructure and judicial reform. The author substantiates the Court's role through a meticulous analysis of its foundational principles, its singular constitutional and legislative mandate to administer justice, and the system of functions that flow from this mandate. The work explores the intricate relationship between the Court's core task and its derivative functions, including the administration of justice (with its punitive and acquittatory dimensions), judicial control over pre-trial investigations, internal administration, and its overarching anti-corruption mission. Particular attention is given to the unique procedural guarantees, such as the involvement of international experts in the judicial selection process, designed to ensure its independence and integrity. The study identifies and systematizes the specific features of the Court's operation, differentiating it from courts of general jurisdiction.
