Histoire générale des Kamara

Le Manden, une petite province au départ, s'est agrandi jusqu'à former un immense empire, sous la houlette des Keyita. Mais selon la quasi-totalité des traditions, les premiers habitants qui y ont vécu seraient les Kamara dont le premier ancêtre, Mansa Kiran, vint du Wagadu et fut le premier à s'installer dans le pays. Les Kamara étaient à l'origine des Kagoro. Le Manden doit son nom à ces Kamara qui vont établir, logiquement, la première dynastie du pays.
