Hold Me

'Hold Me Hold Me Hold Me' is a play by Jake Stewart - a Melbourne-based playwright, intent on telling stories of modern gayness and contemporary romance. The work is a sizzling collection of vignettes, which charts the journey of two cosmically-connected souls. As ever, this work sees Stewart dwell on the heat and immediacy of theatrical intimacy, as well as on the desperate human drive to connect through language. Traversing space and time, 'Hold Me Hold Me Hold Me' chases down the human consequences of obsessive, loving, spiritual magnetism, and excitedly tastes the long fingers of destiny. This play is written for a cast of two, but could comfortably, certainly suit more. "a playwright of unquestionable talent" - The Age "In many ways, Stewart is a modern version of Tennessee Williams." - Lilithia Reviews "A masterclass in theatrical economy and emotional precision." - That Show Blog
