House Bylaws

In a meticulously ordered home, one woman turns the language of contracts into the architecture of desire. Maren Parker has built her career on turning chaos into clean agreements, but when she brings that precision into her marriage, the lines between paper and passion begin to blur. Her husband, Elias, finds himself drawn into a new set of terms that redefine intimacy, speech, and attention. When a second woman enters the arrangement under carefully negotiated conditions, the household must navigate jealousy, ambition, and the shifting balance of authority. Each amendment tests the boundaries of trust and surrender, turning everyday moments into charged negotiations. The binder on the table becomes both anchor and catalyst, recording every concession and every deepening need. As the principals enforce their rules and the household adapts, the characters confront what it means to choose structure over accident and to let desire be shaped by someone else's pen. The result is a story of control, consent, and the quiet intensity of living inside a contract that refuses to stay on the page.
