How God Created the World

This book emphasizes the "God" of Christianity. Christiansbelieve that God exists and that He created the world in six days.This book shares this belief, but with an emphasis on God'scunning in the creation of this world in exactly six days, andparticularly the creation of many "good and bad things." Forexample, physical violence among human beings is considereda very negative phenomenon, since the moment Cain killed hisbrother Abel. This book, however, shows that God made surethat physical violence also has a positive angle, because withoutviolence among humans that God created a significant percentageof them would not be able to afford vital necessities to survivein this world. This example is illustrated with violence in bothwars and in the community. The same has happened with naturaldisasters (e.g., hurricanes, tornadoes); although they are very "badthings" created by God, He also made sure that such disasterscould economically benefit an infinite number of people, with theexception of private insurance companies which flatly disagreewith God's periodically sending such disasters to this planet.Another example is the cunning of God's creation of the poorand the rich, for it occurred to Him, rightly, that without povertythere is no wealth. According to several verses in the Holy Bible,illnesses are very "bad things" resulting from the violation of God's"divine laws" in the Ten Commandments He sent to Moses whenthey met on Mount Sinai (a biblical event extensively discussedin the chapter dealing with the "origin of diseases"). This book,however, shows that illnesses could also have a positive angle.The main conclusion in "How God Created the World" is that,if God really created the world in just six days, He created it soperfectly that it is virtually impossible to prove He was wrong.
