How to Avoid Scams and Keep your Data Safe

This book provides some basic guidance tosecure your data and avoid being scammed. It isbased on my studies in Cyber Security atPlymouth University where I obtained a FirstClass Honours Cyber Security Degree in 2021and is also based on my experience withcomputers. I have not attempted to give all thereasons for my recommendations or academicreferences, it is simply meant to provide a fewsimple steps to improve your security. I havelooked at the psychological nature of hacking,ways to keep your computer safe, how to makea strong password, and other issues like AI andcryptocurrency. The final chapter gives tensimple steps you can implement. Please notethis is a short book with only about 3000 words,however, I believe it contains the essentialinformation you need to secure the data of theaverage user.
