The main objective of the study is to investigate the relationship between human capital management practices and teacher performances in private secondary schools in Cameroon. The specific objectives are; to assess the significant relationship between salary and productivity, to examine the significant relationship between staff training and productivity, to determine the relationship between organizational discipline and staff absenteeism, to assess the significant relationship between communication and staff punctuality, to evaluate the relationship between training and staff innovation, to examine the significant relationship between staff promotion and retention rate and to determine the relationship between job security and job satisfaction. Both alternate and null hypotheses were used. There were literature reviews on the concepts and theories. The research method was quantitative. Primary research method was used to collect data in the use of closed-ended questionnaires. A sample size of 250 respondents was randomly selected among 24 private secondary schools in Fako Division of Cameroon. The independent variables had a negative correlation with the dependent variable.
