I Am Tao

Suffering is a part of life we all must endure. But the script that was seemingly written for me, reads as though it was penned by the devil himself.As a child, my innocence was stolen from me by the Catholic Church, and so too by those closest to me. For decades, I numbed the trauma with one addiction after another, which at times made for a cinema-worthy tale, culminating in my incarceration in the U.S. as a suspected terrorist.I spent most of my life wanting to die and did everything I could to make that happen. But the Universe wouldn't let me. I was blessed to discover plant medicines which played a pivotal role in turning my life around, healing me in a manner not possible with western medicine. When my spirit recovered, I found the strength to speak my truth and confront the Church in what would become a historic, landmark court case.I now hold deep gratitude for all the hardship I endured, and I see my experiences as gifts that have empowered me to guide others on their own healing journey.
