A note before you begin. We've been collecting accounts like these for several years now. Most of what we receive is what you'd expect - strange, sometimes frightening, occasionally unexplainable. We publish those too, in other volumes. This book is different. This book contains only the accounts we didn't know what to do with. The ones that shared a specific detail we hadn't asked about. The ones where the witness stopped mid-sentence during the part that mattered most, and had to start over. The ones that made the person reading the submission close their laptop and go sit in a room with other people for a while.We're not trying to convince you of anything. We're not even sure we believe all of them ourselves. But we stopped reading these at night about six months ago, and we haven't started again. Submitted as true. Read at your own discretion. This is the first volume.
