I Remember Him — According to Luke: the Child and Healer

Before the crowds pressed in and the sick reached for His touch, there were quieter wonders: an old priest struck silent in the temple, a young woman in Nazareth overshadowed by promise, a child laid in a manger, shepherds trembling beneath angel light, and a mother who treasured holy mysteries in her heart.I Remember Him - According to Luke: The Child and the Healer is a biblical historical fiction retelling of Luke's Gospel, written in the remembered voice of an unnamed apostolic witness. Shaped by Luke's careful, compassionate eye as a physician, this story follows the life of Jesus from the hidden beginnings of promise and birth into the first great movements of His public ministry. Through first-century Jewish life, Roman rule, synagogue tension, temple hope, family grief, illness, healing, mercy, and calling, this narrative invites readers to step inside the dust, wonder, fear, and faith of those who encountered Him. This is not a Bible and is not meant to replace Scripture. It is a fictional retelling designed to help readers imagine the world around the Gospel account and return again to the true Word of God. From Judea to Nazareth, from Bethlehem to the Jordan, from the synagogue to the crowded houses of Galilee, the promise draws near. This is the beginning of the Healer's road.
