Impact of personality traits on entrepreneurial development in Oman: Understanding the characteristics is important, as it will make an individual into a business owner

Self-employment is identified as one of the best solutions, especially for youth, by many countries due to its importance. However, entrepreneurial development required continued efforts, and also there is a considerable influence of personality traits on entrepreneurial development. Therefore, the main aim of this study was to determine the relationship between personality characteristics (need for achievement, instrumental readiness, subjective norms, and locus of control) and entrepreneurial intention among undergraduate students in Oman. This study also aimed to analyze the relationship between entrepreneurial intention and demographic factors (education, study program, fathers' occupation, and family income) among undergraduate students in Oman.
