Implementing Change

This project by Richard E. Rokosz explores the factors that influence successful implementation of organizational change, particularly within the aerospace industry. These factors fall within three families: workforce, management, and organization, and are influenced by underlying conditions such as politics, technology, culture, environment, and risk. The study includes surveys, interviews, and observations, leading to practical tools like a change model, an action sequence diagram, and an implementation checklist to aid managers in achieving lasting, beneficial change. Applications such as Concurrent Engineering demonstrate the effectiveness of these factors, emphasizing the importance of leadership involvement and comprehensive planning to avoid quick fixes that often fail.
