The book is a collection of expressed ideas and observations about life that take the form of photos, sketches, paintings, poems, and short stories. The author extracts and analyzes moments in the past that are triggered by his own memories and/or old photos. He vicariously relives both remembered and imagined contexts as he expresses how people are affected by tradition, cultural norms, and interpersonal relationships. About the AuthorDr. Arvid E. Osterberg holds the honorary position of University Professor at Iowa State University, where he teaches graduate courses in Architecture. He is a registered architect and holds bachelor's and master's degrees in architecture from the University of Illinois and a Doctor of Architecture degree from the University of Michigan. Arvid Osterberg's books address a diverse range of subjects, each with a unique literary and communicative approach, including three other books with Culicidae Architectural Press: Dream House On The Prairie, Staying Vertical In A Hazardous World, and Design for All, The Best Path Forward.
