Ïmu

Quiet, gifted, and frighteningly perceptive eight-year-old Ïmu Lemaire hasn't spoken since tragedy shattered her young world. Instead, she communicates through sign language, gestures, and hauntingly intricate drawings. Drawings that begin revealing events no child should ever know.Unfortunately, when beloved neighbor Betsy Chamberlin dies under troubling circumstances, strange things begin to stir around the once placid lakeside home. Shadows linger too long and dreams bleed uneasily into waking life, leaving her parents struggling to separate fear from reason.Answers lie somewhere between memory and grief, in a place spoken of only in whispers... where sorrows linger, old wounds breathe, and an unseen evil waits in the glooms. And as Ïmu's world begins to thin, one terrible question remains. When loss opens the door...What answers...
