In Darkness Hides: The Origin

I am the soul inside a weapon that should have never been made. In the beginning, I was unfinished and buried in the archives beneath old Russia. After 80 years, soldiers fighting a strange type of war discovered me and finished my design. However, they did not build me in the image of man, but of the Dämmerung.During my buried wait, the Dämmerung found their way to our world, and eventually humans could not tolerate sharing the earth any longer. Someone had to stop this, and I was asked to stand alongside human remnants and defectors of the enemy as their secret weapon. If you knew what I'd done, the murder, subterfuge, and sabotage, you would condemn me for my actions.No one knew how little control I actually had.But the war had to end, and I was immediately forgotten. I was left to rot in the permafrost for decades, the only companions were my memories and regrets. If I stand again, what will I be to the world? Whether I protect what remains, or finish what was started, all hinges on what I find.
