Unpublished PoetI thought if I could arrangeSome of my poetry into a bookTo some it may seem strangeBut others may stop and lookAll the poetry that I create The personal feelings I've chosen to shareThrough the years I decided to waitNow I'm cautiously proceeding with care.I was young and running from loveKnowing it would catch up sooner or laterThe words came from aboveI just put them on the paperThe up-front money that is requiredWas too big a chance for me to take My options all seemed expiredBut my dream was never fakeYou could say this is my attempt At the dream I've had all alongSometimes when your thoughts are exemptThe world doesn't seem SO wrongThank you for taking the timeFor reading my words of rhymeAnd keeping an open mindFor the dream I seek to find
