In the company of La Fabrique Imaginaire

When I saw Au bord de l'eau at the Avignon Festival at the age of 18, I left the performance swearing, "When I grow up, I'll be just like them." In my wildest dreams, "I could already see myself... ," not at the top of the bill, but alongside La Fabrique Imaginaire, working hand in hand with those two. I fantasized about an incredibly creative collaboration that would allow me to reach the highest spheres of Art with a capital A. So, as if driven by a higher power, I wrote a cover letter. I sent my application for an internship with them. I moved heaven and earth to get their email address. I surprised myself with my boldness on the phone with their administrator. I did everything I could to get an appointment with them. I clung to the certainty that my salvation lay in this possible meeting. I am dying of hope at the prospect of being able to talk to them one day... And that day arrives.
